Material and process know-how of the employees

Our manufacturing processes must be quick, flexible and at a high quality level with minimal rejects. This requires competent specialists operating the manufacturing machinery. Professional qualifications, broad machining experience and a comprehensive, technical understanding are the pillars of our employee competence.

Our machinery

ZAE's machinery comprise a mix of a few conventional NC machine tools with mainly, state-of-the-art CNC turning and machining centres. In total approx. 40 systems are integrated in the manufacturing process, amongst others:

Fässler K400 honing machine (figure 9), designed for smooth finishing of spur gears. Workpieces with shaped gears can be machined. Honing effects also low noise runing gears.

Vertical integration & "Just-in-time"

Our customers also profit from the advantages of high vertical integration. All manufacturing steps are carried out within our own production facilities, including both hardening and casting. This means that extremely short reaction times and highly flexible execution of special projects can be guaranteed at all times.

ZAE is also setup to be able to react extremely quickly in respect of replacement parts deliveries or manufacturing.

This is most important for customers if machine down times in their own operation (e.g. due to failure of drive units) could cause high losses of production.

Processes

By controlling all manufacturing processes using an integrated order management system, we can guarantee optimum throughput and trouble-free production.

Stocks available at all times with short re-procurement times guarantee fast delivery to our customers.
