ZAE drive systems is a name that has been associated with quality and reliability for 100 years. Today, the company stands for innovative, highly efficient drive technologies that have proven themselves time and time again in numerous industries and both worldwide. Our product portfolio not only includes reliable standard gear units. Thanks to our decades of experience and distinctive engineering skills, we also design and manufacture highly individualised drive solutions.

Comprehensive product range

At our ZAE plant in Hamburg Altona, we produce industrial gear units and geared motors for a wide range of applications on 5,600 square metres of production space equipped with powerful machinery. Our corporate structure allows us to respond quickly and specifically to our customers' requirements and develop targeted solutions over a very short period of time. All the industrial gear units we manufacture are designed in cooperation with our customers and tested on our in-house test benches. Our delivery spectrum includes high-performance standard gear units and individual special solutions based on customer specifications.

We manufacture our gear unit solutions at our plant in Hamburg Altona. We use state-of-the-art machine tools to produce our components. The high degree of production performed in-house is reflected in first-class quality. ZAE is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015.
